We are now looking for a Brand & Communication Owner responsible for building one or several brands within AW Group. An opportunity for you who is looking to develop relevant marketing activities together with your team of Brand Managers and other marketing specialists. If you thrive to work close to the business, keeping track of your target group preferences and strive to ensure our communication address these needs, this is the role for you!

About the role

As Brand & Communication Owner you will be responsible for your brand(s) overall communication strategy on a group level, align our marketing activities and make sure the activities support our long-term marketing objectives. To increase the business impact, we get from our marketing investment, you and your team proactively work on understanding your target audience. You will manage a team of four ambitious and highly skilled Brand Manangers, each specialized in the needs for marketing activities in their specific countries. Your responsibility as team manager is to lead and develop your team, establish necessary processes and actively strengthen employee engagement.

You will collaborate with multiple specialists within the marketing department but also be the go-to person for communication activities concerning your brand(s) towards stakeholders from various parts of the organization. Another important part of this role is to contribute to the development of the overall communication process, a part of which include ensuring an active and efficient collaboration within the marketing function.

Job duties

  • Responsible for the communication strategy and ensure that the overall activity plan supports our long-term marketing objectives and creates synergies to the other brands within the AW Group.
  • Lead, develop and support your team by ensuring we are working in an efficient process that develops our brands in the right direction.
  • Recruit team members when needed, keep an efficient mix of internal and external resources and ensure the team have access to the right tools & competencies
  • Take initiatives to build and develop our marketing processes to increase the business impact we get from our marketing investments.
  • Give monthly reports on our marketing performance connected to your brands and keep relevant parts of the organization updated on our planned and executed communication activities concerning your brands.

We are looking for

We are looking for someone with:

  • At least 2 years’ experience of working hands-on with campaign management, which has given you a good understanding of the marketing process and what is needed to secure successful marketing activities
  • Preferably experience of leading others, such as leading a team or project groups
  • Relevant education within for example business administration, marketing or similar
  • Very good knowledge in written and spoken English

You can formulate long term brand strategies and set up activities supporting the strategies. You make your own judgments even when information is limited and still come across as a confident and professional in new situations.

The Marketing departments main office is situated in Stockholm, but our co-workers are located in all our countries. This position can be positioned in Sweden, Finland, Germany or Norway, at any of our operative offices. The role includes trips to the different countries and to our main office in Stockholm, if not situated here. Travels is roughly 1-2 days per month in total.
